Whilst ECM is not actively recruiting missionaries for Belarus, we are always keen to hear from individuals who have a heart for this country. If the Lord has placed Belarus on your heart, and you have the relevant training and experience for church planting initiatives in new environments, please contact your nearest ECM office.

Little decentralization since the soviet era; almost 80% of industry remains in state hands, with significant renationalization since 2005. Market reform and privatization are moving at a snail's pace. Traditionally strong industrial and agricultural bases. Heavily dependent on trade with its closest ally, Russia. Still impacted by economic and health consequences of the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
